01. The Story

I don't wait for specs, and I don't wait for permission. If a business is drowning in manual work, running operations on WhatsApp, or copy-pasting data between spreadsheets, I build the infrastructure to stop it. I use whatever tool fits the job—whether that's React Native, Next.js, Apps Script, or AI automation.

My background is in Physics. After graduating, I took a year off and ended up in a sales role (BDA) at Handy Squad, a facility management company. I had zero plans to work in tech.

But I couldn't ignore the broken systems around me.

I started writing scripts and building tools to automate our chaotic daily operations. First for myself, then for my team, and eventually for the whole company. The company noticed, moved me to operations, and eventually gave me the title Junior Software Engineer—simply because there wasn't a job title for "the guy who builds systems so we don't drown."

Today, I serve as a generalist operator and builder. I learn what the problem requires, not what a curriculum dictates. I also support the Two-Thirds Community Foundation on tech decisions and developing their digital systems for coastal fishing communities in Kerala.

02. Selected Work

Handy Squad Coordination System

Operational Infrastructure Solo Builder
Problem
The entire field operations ran on WhatsApp messages. Technicians got jobs via WhatsApp, updated status on WhatsApp, and office staff manually re-entered everything into scattered spreadsheets. It took four full-time people just to manage scheduling.
Built
A unified operational hub using Google Sheets, Apps Script, and AppSheet. Sales staff enter details once; the scheduling team gets automated email alerts; technicians receive structured mobile job cards; and status updates flow back to a central, structured database.
Impact
Reduced the coordination team from 4 people to 2. Eliminated manual WhatsApp logs. Management gained unified data lookup for the first time. The system is still running today.

Lead Follow-Up Tracker

Personal Tool → Team Adoption
Problem
Our CRM had no reminder system. Everything was tracked in paper notebooks. I kept forgetting follow-ups—if a customer said "call back in two days," it was easily lost.
Built
An automated reminder system using Google Sheets and Apps Script that sends notifications for scheduled follow-ups at the exact time they are due.
Impact
My follow-up rate improved instantly. Colleagues noticed, requested access, and adopted the tool organically across the team.

Employee Break Time Tracker

Operational Utility
Problem
A temporary operational bottleneck emerged where employee break times needed tracking to manage coverage. There was no simple system available.
Built
A minimal check-in/check-out utility using Google Sheets.
Impact
Used for 1-2 months. Behavior corrected, the issue was resolved, and the system was retired. I consider this the best outcome—a tool that solved the problem and made itself unnecessary.

HR Notification System

Automation
Problem
HR spent hours manually tracking and remembering employee birthdays, work anniversaries, and performance evaluation cycles.
Built
An Apps Script automation that scans employee records and sends HR automated, timely alerts for milestones and evaluation dates.
Impact
Completely removed the administrative tracking burden from HR.

Two-Thirds Community Foundation Systems

Non-Profit Tech Advisor & Developer
Problem
An NGO focused on coastal fishing communities in Kerala had no technical systems, workflow, or online presence.
Built
Designed and built their complete website (Next.js converted to WordPress) and support the organization on tech decisions and development of their systems. Every word on the website reflects the editorial philosophy framing coastal fishing communities as knowledge holders, not aid recipients.
Impact
Established a professional digital footprint and laid the groundwork for their operational tools.

Savrae — Physics Lab Platform

Open Source EdTech Next.js / KaTeX
Problem
Physics lab experiments and resources are rarely accessible online in structured, easy-to-use formats for students in Kerala.
Built
A free reference web platform built on Next.js (hosted on Vercel) featuring KaTeX math rendering, interactive observation tables, and SVG diagrams. Populating content with a colleague completing an MSc in Physics.
Impact
Platform is live and in active use. Holding potential to pivot into a SaaS model for schools and coaching institutes in Kerala.

Personal Operating System

In Progress React Native / Supabase
Problem
Managing health, finance, food, reading, and habits across separate apps leads to fragmented tracking and manual overhead.
Built
Currently developing a unified life operating system in React Native with a Supabase backend. Designed so a single entry feeds multiple systems (e.g., logging a meal updates food logs and budget simultaneously).
Status
Currently in specifications and design stage, with active repository development.

03. The Stack

Python, SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS basics.

I use AI:

As a core collaborator. Prompt engineering, AI-assisted development, and workflow automation. I don't use AI as a shortcut, but as a technical multiplier.

I learn:

Continuously and dynamically. I don't follow rigid curriculums; I learn whatever language, framework, or tooling is required to build the fix for the problem at hand.

Published a 95-page volume focusing on practical Stoicism, resilience, and operational discipline under pressure.
